GC Hapajo's Bridey

John & Pat Hawk started breeding Persians in 1982, concentrating mostly on Shaded Silvers
and Smokes. By 1985 they had closed the Shaded program and added Brown Tabbies
with their foundation male Kikicat's Jericho of Hapajo.

In 1994, they started breeding American Shorthairs by acquiring Rhetoric's Sweet Jam. Jam became a Grand in 1994. In 1995 GC, NW Brerbit's Little Man Tate came into their lives through the generousity of Terry Drum and Rhett Bockman and hooked them on adding a very small breeding program.

In addition they decided to return to their first love: shaded silver Persians. While it sounds as though there is a lot going on, each program is small. John is a heathy 83-year-old, Pat a vivacious 73 years, and they spend full-time on loving and caring for their babies. Each cat and kitten receives special attention!

Pat formed the Tropical Cat Club in 1992 and currently co-manages a show the first week-end in August each year in Deland, Florida. Pat is currently forming a Shaded and Golden Breed Club in Florida.

Hapajo Persians is dedicated to producing sweet-faced Persians with good personalities, without sacrificing vigor and good health. A few pet kittens are placed each year by reservation and they ship to foreign countries.
